Meet the Teachers
Our teachers have a wealth of experience working with children and are educated in Early Child Development. They welcome all children of varying abilities into their classroom and provide a warm and nurturing environment.
Teachers participate in regular professional development through Early Childhood workshops and conferences, online training and through working with child development specialist such as: Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Behavioral Therapists and Physical Therapists. They have been trained and certified in Handwriting Without Tears Printing and Numeracy, Animated Literacy and Hanen ABC and Beyond Emergent Literacy. Staff are also certified in Child Care First Aid and CPR, carry a police clearance and vulnerable sector search and have participated in Child Abuse Protocols workshops through ACFS.

I believe that children learn through play. It is my role as an Early Childhood Educator to facilitate this learning by inspiring play experiences that will encourage children to grow socially, emotionally and cognitively. I also believe that each child is an individual who comes with their own set of experiences and need to be treated as such. It is important to meet each child at their level and help them to grow and develop in their own unique way.

Working with children is a joy! I believe that I can facilitate learning by continuing to seek out opportunities to enhance and enrich a child’s interactions, experiences and creativity. It is important to acknowledge a child’s individual interests, and inspire them to learn. Embrace a child’s successes by giving them what they need to be successful!
